MediConnect Global Inc. says it now can help health insurers get patient medical charts from doctors and hospitals.
MediConnect, Salt Lake City, says it will digitize the records, index the records and transmit the records to the client health plan, to help the plan apply diagnosis codes.
Initially, the service will be marketed to Medicare Advantage plans, MediConnect says.
