A company known for assisting Social Security Disability Insurance benefits applicants is broadening its scope.
Allsup Inc., Belleville, Ill., is developing financial and health care information services for people with disabilities, the company says.
The first new service, the Financial Matters service, is a free, Web-based personal finance site that discusses topics such as budgeting, expense management and the risks of taking out second mortgages.
Allsup also is developing Medicare plan evaluation tool.
