HealthPass will be selling Oxford brand health coverage to small employers in the New York City area.
HealthPass, an affiliate of the New York Business Group on Health, New York, serves as a benefits buying club for small businesses in the 5 boroughs of New York and on Long Island.
UnitedHealthcare, a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., has agreed to sell coverage designed for sole proprietors through HealthPass under the Oxford brand name.
In-network preventive care and in-network laboratory services will be covered at no charge, and no referrals will be necessary for specialist visits.
