A group that runs member benefit programs for a variety of business and trade associations is offering small business health insurance in its home state.
Affiliated Associations of America, Redmond, Wash., will be marketing 16 different plans from a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., to Washington state businesses with 2 to 100 employees.
The options will include health account plans as well as conventional preferred provider plans and health maintenance organization plans, according to the AAOA.
