A large insurer has established a relationship with a group that serves Asian-American insurance agents and brokers.
ING U.S., an arm of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, says it has will help support the new Asian American Insurance and Financial Professional Association, El Monte, Calif., an offshoot of the 22-year-old California Asian Insurance and Financial Professional Association.
The AAIFPA will provide education and networking opportunities for Asian financial professionals throughout the United States, organizers say.
ING will sponsor events, professional educational workshops and consumer financial education programs to support the AAIFPA, the company says.
