Examination Management Services Inc. has set up a new program aimed at insurers that sell insurance directly through the Internet.
The new U-Direct service can manage activities such as teleinterviewing, lab testing, delivery of applications for signature, and ordering of attending physician statements, according to EMSI, Scottsdale, Ariz.
EMSI also can perform a quality review of application documents, to make sure that data is complete, legible and accurate, the firm says.
