Robert Plybon is the new chairman of the American College board of trustees.
Plybon, president of Plybon and Associates Inc., Greensboro, N.C., has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Park Ridge, Ill., since 1972.
He is a past president of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, Falls Church, Va., and of the board of the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, Arlington, Va.
Plybon has a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Carolina University.
He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations. He earned the ChFC designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., in 1982.
