A provider of life insurance and annuity order entry technology has entered into an agreement with National Compliance Services Inc. to provide order-processing tools that meet new regulations for variable annuities.
Blue Frog Solutions Inc., Pompano Beach, Fla., says it will work with NCS, Delray Beach, Fla., to offer on-line tools to help financial professionals meet requirements of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Rule 2821. That rule, to take effect later this year, imposes a suitability obligation and requirements for principal review, supervision and approval of transactions involving deferred VAs.
