CIGNA Corp. is making password-protected personal disability claim information available through the Internet for covered employees who are out of work due to a coverred illness or injury.
The online tool can be used to apply for disability income benefits as well as to help members file a claim online and check the status of a claim, according to CIGNA, Philadelphia.
Claimants can check up to 2 years of claims history. The claims history information includes details about payment amounts and issue dates, CIGNA says.
