Rick Johnson, president of PolicyOptions, recently announced that the company has obtained a viatical settlement broker's license in Ohio. The company is now able to conduct life settlement transactions in 42 states and the District of Columbia. In addition to earning licensure in Ohio, PolicyOptions was recently awarded a viatical settlement broker's license in California, making it one of the few settlement brokerages authorized to assist chronically and terminally ill policy owners residing in the nation's most populous state.
