The New York Life Foundation is giving $300,000 to 12 nonprofit groups in Westchester County, N.Y.
The foundation, an affiliate of New York Life Insurance Company, New York, says the biggest grant, for $63,250, will go to the Child Care Council of Westchester, to support the council's after-school education programs.
