A large insurer will offer more group life plan members creation services and related services from an outside vendor.
Hartford Life, Simsbury, Conn., an arm of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has agreed to make the EstateGuidance program from ComPsych Corp., Chicago, available to group life customers with 50 or more employees.
In the past, Hartford Life offered the EstateGuidance program only to group life customers with 1,000 or more employees.
Licensed lawyers affiliated with the program can help employees create legally binding wills, Hartford Life says.
