Barrett Benefits Group Inc. has opened an office in Tampa Bay, Fla.
Barrett Benefits, Cleveland, a third party administrator, says the new office will focus on establishing high-deductible plans structured in such a way that an employer creates a special fund to help employees pay routine claims.
The plans can help cut costs for small and midsize plans by about 20%, Barrett Benefits says.
