Health Net Inc. has agreed to recommend health savings account services from Bank of America Corp. to purchasers of its high-deductible health insurance plans.
Health Net, Woodland Hills, Calif., provides or administers health coverage for 3.7 million people.
Health Net says the HSA deal represents the first step in the creation of a "strategic relationship" with Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C.
