Genworth Financial Inc. is selling a long term care insurance policy in more states.
Genworth, Richmond, Va., says it plans to starting marketing its Cornerstone Advantage LTC insurance product in as many as 10 additional states, pending regulatory approvals. The product now is available in 30 states.
Features such as deductibles and coinsurance payments help make the Cornerstone product cheaper than many other LTC insurance policies, Genworth says.
The Cornerstone product also includes a return-of-premium feature.
