The Blue Shield of California Foundation today announced about $11 million in donations to California nonprofit organizations.
The foundation, an arm of Blue Shield of California, San Francisco, says the biggest grant, for $7 million, will go into a fund that supports free health clinics and other health clinics that serve California residents who have no health coverage.
