A push toward buying a smaller number of bigger life insurance policies helped profits at Life Partners Holdings Inc. during the quarter that ended May 31.
Life Partners, Waco, Texas, is reporting $4.7 million in net income for the first quarter of its fiscal year on $18 million in revenue, up from $200,000 in net income on $6.2 million in revenue for the comparable quarter in 2006.
