The Life Insurance Settlement Association plans to hold a free life settlement regulation Web seminar at 11 a.m. EDT Friday.
Speakers will talk about the possible effects of efforts by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Kansas City, Mo., to amend its current Viatical Settlement Model Act, according to LISA, Orlando, Fla.
LISA is critical of the proposed amendments and says they would hurt the interests of consumers and life insurance agents.
