A human resources technology firm is getting consumer health tools from a survivor of the dot-com era.
Workscape Inc., Marlborough, Mass., has agreed to offer benefits administration customers access to Web-based health and benefits management tools from WebMD Corp., Elmwood Park, N.J.
The tools include a self-assessment questionnaire; an electronic personal health record; a site for comparing prescription drugs and other treatments; and a decision-support tool that can help users compare hospitals based on the cost and quality of the hospitals' care for specific procedures.
