Optima Health Plan has selected an outside vendor to help it set up a health savings account program.
Optima, a unit of Sentara Healthcare, Norfolk, Va., has hired HealthEquity Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah, to provide HSA program administration services, including a 24-hour nurse line, a drug price comparison tool, customer service, and out-of-network bill review and negotiation, according to HealthEquity.
Optima provides health coverage for 350,000 individuals in eastern Virginia.
