Worksite life and health insurance sales increased about 7% between 2002 and 2003.[@@]
Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc., Avon, Conn., has published that figure in a new worksite market review.
Sales amounted to about $4.3 billion in 2003, Eastbridge says.
Eastbridge tracks voluntary group products and individual products sold at the worksite that rely on payroll-deduction payment systems.
Although worksite sales growth was somewhat slower than it has been in the past, customers continued to increase their spending on established programs: In-force worksite premium revenue increased about 13% between 2002 and 2003, to somewhere between $11.3 billion and $15 billion, Eastbridge says.
