NU Online News Service, June 7, 2004, 1:12 p.m. EDT – Molina Healthcare Inc., Long Beach, Calif., has completed previously announced plans to acquire 2 blocks of business from Premera Blue Cross, Mountainlake Terrace, Wash.[@@]
Molina took over a Healthy Options Medicaid plan with 43,000 members and a Basic Health plan with 21,000 members.
Molina now has a total of 588,000 health plan members in California, Michigan, Utah and Washington, and almost half of its members are in Washington.
