NU Online News Service, June 2, 2003, 2:58 p.m. EDT – TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company, New York, N.Y., will be using a Web-based version of the NaviSys Front Office illustration and application systems from NaviSys Inc., Edison, N.J., to support the sale of life insurance and long-term care insurance and generate online applications.
TIAA-CREF previously used an earlier version of the system to support life insurance sales, NaviSys says.
The new system can feed customer data from illustrations into policy applications, NaviSys says.
TIAA-CREF plans to start by using the NaviSys tools to support its term business in August, NaviSys says.
