NU Online News Service, May 6, 2003, 4:23 p.m. EDT – Travelers Life & Annuity, Hartford, has added a new, lower-priced death benefit guarantee rider to its Travelers MVP and Travelers Survivorship Life universal life products.
The rider helps clients secure a death benefit guarantee to age 100 regardless of the issue age. Previously, under the old rider, the maximum duration of the guarantee period was 50 years, Travelers says.
The new version of the Travelers rider is available in most states, including New Jersey, New York and Texas.
Travelers Life is a unit of Citigroup Inc., New York.
