NU Online News Service, April 3, 2003, 3:45 p.m. EST – Fiserv Inc., Brookfield, Wis., has agreed to acquire ReliaQuote Inc., Falls Church, Va., a Web-based insurance agency and brokerage with annual sales of about $15 million.
The companies did not disclose terms of the agreement.
ReliaQuote sells term life insurance and other products through the ReliaQuote Web site, and it also sells insurance through financial institution Web sites.
Fiserv provides data-processing services for 13,000 banks, broker-dealers, credit unions, insurers, financial advisors and self-insured employers.
