NU Online News Service, March 10, 2003, 2:25 p.m. EST – TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company, New York, is now selling 10-year and 15-year level term life insurance policies to members of the general public between the ages of 20 and 60.
TIAA-CREF Life, a subsidiary of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, has set the minimum coverage level at $100,000. All policies include a feature that can accelerate payment of benefits when a policyholder suffers from a terminal illness.
