NU Online News Service, Feb. 28, 9:57 a.m. – Aetna Inc., Hartford, has hired Eric Elliott to head its pharmacy management unit.
Elliott succeeds Robyn Walsh, who was promoted to a business-development job, Aetna says.
Elliott previously was a senior vice president in pharmacy management in the managed care unit at CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia. He was also president of Tel-Drug, CIGNA's mail-order prescription business.
Elliott has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business from Temple University.
