NU Online News Service, Oct. 10, 12:50 p.m. – Spectera Inc., Baltimore, a vision benefits unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., has hired Nelson Armstrong to be a senior account executive in its Houston office.
Armstrong will be responsible for accounts in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Temple, and Waco.
He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Spectera has also hired Jim Shepherd to be an account executive in its Tampa, Fla., office and Eleanor Annese to be an account executive in its Flemington, N.J., office.
