NU Online News Service, Oct. 7, 3:37 p.m. – The Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has renamed its asset-management business Principal Global Investors.
The unit previously was known as Principal Capital Management L.L.C.
The unit manages about $90 billion in assets invested in stocks, bonds and real estate. It has offices in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the United Kingdom as well as the United States.
