NU Online News Service, April 30, 3:59 p.m. – Asset Allocation & Management Company L.L.C., Chicago, a company that manages insurance company investment portfolios, has hired two fixed-income specialists away from Zurich Scudder Investments.

The new executive directors are Randall Zeller, who will become Asset Allocation's president, and John Schaefer, who will be the chief investment officer.

Barry Hoyt will continue to be the chairman and chief executive of Asset Allocation.

Other Zurich Scudder executives could also be on the move, because Deutsche Bank A.G., Frankfurt, recently acquired Zurich Scudder from the Zurich Financial Services Group, Zurich, earlier this month.

Zeller previously managed $150 billion in fixed-income assets for Zurich Scudder. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University, and he holds the Certified Financial Analyst professional designation.

Schaefer helped manage $82 billion in fixed-income assets for Zurich Scudder. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business from the University of Chicago. He also holds the CFA and certified public accountant professional designations.
