NU Online News Service, Oct. 18, 1:45 p.m. – The Maryland Insurance Administration says that for the first time this year, more than half of its agent license renewals were accomplished on-line.
In the first year of MIA's electronic renewal program, a total of 31,501 out of 58,342 licenses renewals occurred on-line, while another 20,608 agents downloaded personalized renewal forms on their computers.
The MIA claims Maryland has the highest electronic agent license renewal rate of any state.
