NU Online News Service, Sept. 27, 2:30 p.m. – New York Life Chairman Sy Sternberg on Monday will offer a $1.3 million grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Richmond Hill, N.Y.
The grant will be used to establish new learning centers in 15 Boys & Girls Clubs in communities across America, New York Life says.
The learning centers will offer children the opportunity to learn basic computer skills while also providing supervision in the after-school hours, the company says.
