NU Online News Service, Sept. 6, 12:14 p.m. – John Hancock Financial Services Inc., Boston, will be using technology from AnnuityNet Inc., Leesburg, Va., to run its own annuity sales and service Web site, AnnuityNet says.
Hancock has been selling its John Hancock eVariable Annuity, the first variable annuity contract developed for the Web, AnnuityNet's own Web site, at http://www.annuitynetadvisor.com, since March.
