NU Online News Service, Aug. 27, 3:15 p.m. – New York Life International, the overseas arm of New York Life Insurance Company, New York, says it has launched New York Life Insurance (Philippines), a life insurance operation, in Manila.
The Philippines subsidiary will sell 35 products, the company says.
New York Life has been expanding its operations in Asia and Latin America since January 2000. International sales made up 30% of New York Life's total new life insurance sales last year, the company says.
