Brinker Capital, an RIA, says it is lowering the investment minimum of its Wealth Advisory services to $1 million from $2 million. The firm also has added both a vice president/senior portfolio manager and director of wealth planning solutions: Mitch Kerr, CFA, who previously was with TD Private Client Wealth, and Sarab Shamoon-Springer, formerly of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

“By making platform and personnel enhancements, we are pleased to be able to lower our minimums and offer Brinker Capital’s Wealth Advisory services to more financial advisors and clients,” according to Chief Administrative Officer Jason Moore. “This change was possible because of our commitment to and investment in both people and technology to enhance our service offering.”

Brinker Wealth Advisory helps advisors offer high-net-worth and institutional clients tailored investment solutions, including access to portfolio managers, tax management and transition solutions, as well as partners specializing in alternative investments, banking and lending, business valuation, ESG solutions, philanthropic services and trust services. It has $22 billion in assets under management.

In his new role, Kerr will lead strategy planning and communications about the multi-asset class investment philosophy. He has more than 17 years of industry experience, including work for TD Private Client Wealth as a senior investment advisor and for Wells Fargo Private Bank as a senior investment strategist.

Shamoon-Springer, who has been in the business for over 10 years, will be in charge of Brinker’s goals-based platform and management of the partner services platform for HNW clients. At Morgan Stanley, she focused on educating advisors about how to integrate goals-based financial planning into their practices and align planning with portfolio construction and management to create a holistic wealth management experience.

“With the addition of Mitch and Sarab, we are better positioned to serve our Wealth Advisory clients,” explained Wilson. “It’s an exciting time at Brinker Capital as we empower financial advisors with the investments, technology, and support needed to remain focused on what matters most in their business — their clients.”
