YouGov’s recently released 2025 U.S. investment trends report looks at what Americans are investing in, explores generational differences in investing, uncovers trending products and channels, and highlights the investment brands leading with different generations of investors.
“With the continued emergence of tech-first investment platforms versus in-person meetings with financial advisors, more Americans have the opportunity and are more likely to make investments,” Todd Dupey, senior vice president of market research at YouGov America, said in a statement.
“While different generational life stages naturally correlate with varying levels of investment capital and appetite for risk, we are seeing this trend materialize around cryptocurrency. The younger generations are especially eager to invest in a more diversified manner.”
The report analyzes the responses received between March 1 and Dec. 31 of the 64% of more than 30,000 U.S. investors who said they were likely to invest in the next 12 months.
