A California Medicare Advantage health plan has started using a new clinical care management system.
CareMore Health Plan Inc., Cerritos, Calif., has been using the Clinical CareAdvance system to manage in-patient care for 32,000 Medicare plan members since October 2008, and it moved new-member intake onto the system in November 2008.
The company now is configuring the system to move disease management programs, such as diabetes management programs, onto the system, TriZetto says.
