A life insurer is expanding its ancillary products offerings.
Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, Roanoke, Va., will be working with EyeMed Vision Care L.L.C., Mason, Ohio, to sell the StarVision group vision care insurance plan.
Employers can offer 2 types of plans and several rate tiers, and it can offer the coverage on an employer-paid or employee-paid basis, according to Shenandoah Life.
The plans will be available to groups with 2 or more covered lives.
