Organizers of an electronic life insurance policy marketplace have signed 26 new distributors.
Transamerica Life Solutions Group, Charlotte, N.C., a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands, and Cantor LifeMarkets, a unit of Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., New York, have set up a network of retail distributors for Cantor's LexNet life settlement trading system.
The companies, which have signed "master agency contracts," include firms such as Belman Klein Associates Ltd., Columbia, Md.; Four Seasons Financial Group Inc., Mount Laurel, N.J.; and Upstate Special Risk Services Inc., Rochester, N.Y.
