The Badger State has joined the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission.

Wisconsin Gov. James Doyle, a Democrat, has signed S.B. 294, a bill permitting Wisconsin insurance regulators to accept insurance company filings through the IIPRC, Washington.

The IIPRC now accepts filings for 29 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
