Joseph Foley has taken over as chairman of the Council for Disability Awareness.
The CDA, Portland, Maine, helps raise consumer and employer awareness of the importance of protecting workers' income against the threat of disabling illnesses and injury.
Foley is chief marketing officer at Unum, Chattanooga, Tenn.
He succeeds Richard Mucci.
Mucci, who has been a benefits executive at a unit of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, recently agreed to become chairman of the New York Life International unit at New York Life Insurance Company, New York.
