The issuer of a new temporary health insurance policy has named a distributor.
Insurance Services of America Inc., Gilbert, Ariz., will be one of the agencies marketing the Amigo Short Term Medical Plan product from Companion Life Insurance Company, Columbia, S.C., according to Insurance Services.
MultiNational Underwriters L.L.C., Indianapolis, is the administrator for the product, which offers individuals in need of health insurance a choice of several different deductible options.
The Amigo product now is licensed in 11 state and the District of Columbia.
