Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company is trying to reduce the amount of paper used in retirement plan administration.
MassMutual, Springfield, Mass., says it will make a donation to the Go Zero program at the Conservation Fund, Arlington, Va., a group that fights global warming, to buy a tree on behalf of every MassMutual retirement plan participant who agrees to get prospectuses through electronic delivery rather than through the mail.
