John Kelly will step down from his post as chairman of Pan-American Life Insurance Company Jan. 1, 2008, and become chairman emeritus.
Jose Suquet, president and chief executive officer of Pan-American, New Orleans, will add the title of chairman, Pan-American says.
Kelly, 73, a retired executive, joined the Pan-American board in 1994 and became chairman in 2004.
