Alabama National BanCorp. has agreed to sell its insurance agency.
The sale of ANB Insurance Services Inc. to S.S. Nesbitt & Company Inc., a subsidiary of EBSCO Industries Inc., Birmingham, Ala., should close by June 30, according to ANB, Birmingham.
ANB did not disclose terms of the agreement.
ANB is a bank holding company that operates 12 bank subsidiaries in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Its insurance agency arm sells life and health, disability, long term care and employee benefits products.
