NU Online News Service, Jan. 21, 11:38 a.m. – New York Life Insurance Company, New York, has renamed its Leawood, Kan.-based Brokerage Department the New York Life Advanced Markets Network.
The new name is supposed to emphasize the unit's focus on corporations and wealthy individuals, New York Life says.
The unit, which handles estate planning and sales of corporate-owned and bank-owned life insurance, has "dramatically increased" the size of its marketing and sales support staff, New York Life says.
