Transamerica Brokerage has designed an iPad app for “agents on the go.” The app, LifeSales, can be utilized anywhere, allowing agents to capitalize on opportunities as they arise.

Agents know that sales opportunities can organically develop from non-work related conversations, and the app hopes to make these type of sales easier to facilitate.

Using the LifeSales app, agents can instantly calculate a life insurance policy amount by entering the monthly income that would be needed to replace a paycheck, as well as the number of years the income is needed to last and the lump sums required to pay for immediate and future expenses.

After the agents arrive at the amount needed, they will be able to move on to a quoting screen and quickly generate a quote for a term or universal life policy and then save it, show it, or email it to a client.

The app also allows for prior quotes to be saved in a virtual rolodex as well brochures and presentations to be viewed on a screen and emailed to clients.
