Allianz Life hires Debra Repya as senior director of advanced markets

Repya came to Allianz from Securian Financial Services Business Development Center, where she served as a senior advanced strategies counsel, working with teams of attorneys, financial planners and consultants to support financial advisors and firms with financial, estate and business planning. Prior to that, she held a number of leadership roles with Minnesota Life, where she directed a department of up to six attorneys and three staff members and created the department’s strategic plans. She also managed all aspects of the advanced marketing case design, consultation, training and project creation.

Repya earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and German from Augustana College. She also has a Master’s of Science in educational counseling from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law. Repya is active in the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations, along with the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
