The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation has hired David Carver to be executive director.
The ECFC, Washington, lobbies to protect and expand tax-advantaged fringe benefits programs, such as the cafeteria plan program and the health reimbursement arrangement program.
Carver previously worked as a health and welfare benefits consultant at a unit of Aon Corp., Chicago.
In related news, Dennis Triplett is the new chairman of the ECFC board.
Triplett is president of UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Financial Corp., Kansas City, Mo.
