Jackson National Life Insurance Company has reorganized its national accounts group within its Jackson National Life Distributors LLC arm.

The move is aimed at helping to identify new opportunities for growth in the bank and regional broker-dealer channels, and expand Jackson National’s business with existing accounts.

The company named Doug Mantelli as vice president of the new business development team, which will focus on developing new bank and regional broker-dealer relationships in support of the company’s annuity and mutual fund distribution. He had been vice president of marketing strategy for JNLD, part of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich., a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London.

Jennifer Seamount, VP of national accounts for JNLD, will lead the group’s internal support, while Paul Fitzgerald, senior VP of national accounts, will oversee the group.
